Seltzer is located at 40°41′47″N 76°14′8″W (40.696252, -76.235543).

Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 307 people, 129 households, and 82 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 4,434.8 people per square mile (1,693.3/km²). There were 137 housing units at an average density of 1,979.0/sq mi (755.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 100.00% White.
There were 129 households out of which 20.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% were non-families. 31.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
