Sekyi Quaye (born 16 June 1990) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who currently plays for Al Egtmaaey Tripoli or Al-Ijtimai Tripoli in the Lebanese Premier League as a Defender, Midfielder .

Early life

Sekyi Quaye was born in Tema, Greater Accra in Ghana. He began his football career at Tema for Tema Youth Football Club. He played his coast football for Phitizo FC. A coast juvenile team located in Ghana.

Career

Sekyi Quaye have played for Tema Youth where he scored 5 goals in all competition, then moved to New Edubiase United F.C. a Ghanaian football club based in New Edubiase. After successful seasons with the outfit, he later joined Tudu Mighty Jets F.C. who are now competing in the Poly Tank Division One League in Ghana.

In 2014, Sekyi then moved to Latvia to sign a three-year contract with first league outfit FC Jūrmala.

Sekyi then move to Lebanon to sign a one-year deal with Al Egtmaaey Tripoli where he currently play as a Defensive Midfielder. He moved to the top flight club in 2016.

In his debut match with the Lebanon outfit, he inspired Al Egtmaaey Tripoli FC to a 3-2 win over Shabab Al Sahel FC by providing an assist in the first two goals of his side under 40 minutes before the away side fought for the equalizer, he gave two assists to Masu and Abdallah to take the lead in the 20th and 40th minutes respectively before the break.
