SIT, Pithoragarh is a constituent institute of UTTARAKHAND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, DEHRADUN and is approved by UGC. Currently the institute runs 5 undergraduate programs in engineering. Construction work of the SIT campus is on its full swing in pithoragrh and currently the institute provide its academic facilities to the engineering students in its 2 temporary campus at ITI, Pithoragarh and one other govt. building.
