Sediq Afghan (Farsi/Dari language|Dari: صدیق افغان , Sediq Afġān) is an Afghan philosopher and mathematician. He is the founder and head of the World Philosophical Math Research Center in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is also a political activist. He had a prominent role in protests in Kabul about Afghanistan- and Islam-related issues, including an anti-American protest in 2003, a hunger strike to protest beatings of journalists by Afghan security officers in 2006, and another one to protest the 2008 Danish Muhammad cartoons.

    Political activity

    Making decisions on all political problems in the world which is use presser for all concise of people in the world like;

  • Aggression of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, because that was an international problem, and should make decisions to decry the Russian communist regime.
  • Creative idea for breakup of the Soviet Union regime, in front of the public in the Kremlin palace, presenting an idea to dismiss the problem of communism in the world.
  • Decry aggression of Iraq against Kuwait city and decry Saddam Hussein’s mistake for Kuwait’s people. Therefore he conducted a food strike for one month in Leningrad, which was reported in the magazines of that time in Russia and Afghanistan.

    • -The purpose of this strike is inspiring Afghan people's ideas and sympathy for Kuwait’s people.

  • Food strike to condemn western activity when they made a cartoon of Mohammad.
