The Seattle Rainmakers are a professional ultimate team in the Western Division of Major League Ultimate. They began their inaugural season in 2013.

History

The Rainmakers were founded along with 7 other teams in 2012 for the inaugural 2013 season of Major League Ultimate. In 2013 they were second in the MLU West after the San Francisco Dogfish with a record of 8-2. In 2014 the Rainmakers were third in their conference with a 4-6 record. In 2015 they had the second best win-loss record at 5-5 in the West, after the Portland Stags, but they beat Portland in the MLU West Conference Championship game and played the Boston Whitecaps in Philadelphia for the MLU Championship game, which Boston won. The Rainmakers have a 1-2 record for the 2016 season so far, losing their first two games to the Portland Stags and winning their third game against the Vancouver Nighthawks.
