The Seaside Music Festival is an annual rain-or-shine, three-day festival held in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It is a free-admission event that occurs each May. The fourth annual Seaside Music Festival took place from Thursday, May 19 to Saturday, May 21, 2011.

The festival takes place in various restaurants, bars, and other venues in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. There are performances by local and touring bands from the around the US and the world. A variety of musical genres are featured at the festival including alternative, rock, singer-songwriters, folk-artists, pop-singers/groups, DJ/electronic acts and many others. There are 120+ musical acts that perform at the festival. Each night, bands perform live in venues for the entire night, from 8PM-2AM.

Festival emergence
Seaside Music Festival was founded by Indian and Mike Schwartz, and is produced by Motor Media. The festival began as an idea to produce a free concert on the beach, and quickly grew into a multi-venue free-admission music festival at the beach. The inaugural event festival included original bands from around the country and worldwide performing in 15 venues and taking part in other various activities.
The Seaside Music Festival has rooted itself as New Jersey's premiere emerging music festival and hosts a variety of events that appeal to many tastes. In addition to music and nightlife, daytime activities geared toward families and people of all ages take place. The festival keeps all sanctioned events free admission.
