James Turk interviews Sean Fieler, Chairman of the American Principles Project
Life and career
Fieler graduated from Williams College in 1995 with a degree in political economy. Fieler lives in Princeton, New Jersey with his wife and four children. He is the president of Equinox Partners.
In 2014, National Journal described Fieler as one of a growing group of "relatively anonymous free-spenders" funding their own political organizations. He serves as chairman and primary donor of the American Principles Project, an organization that opposes the Common Core educational standards, supports immigration reform and monetary reform, and favors the pro-life movement.
Fieler advocates returning to the gold standard, and initiated an unsuccessful campaign opposing the confirmation of Janet Yellen as Chairwoman of the Federal Reserve. Fieler has served as president of the Chiaroscuro Foundation and on the boards of the Witherspoon Institute, the Institute for American Values, the Susan B. Anthony List, and the Dominican Foundation.
