Sealdah Berhampore line is a railway line connecting the major town Berhampore (Murshidabad) with the entrance of Kolkata and one of the busiest station of India.

This railway line covers a 227 km long stretch from Sealdah to Lalgola. It is one of the oldest railway tracks in this division.

There are three express trains in this route: 13104/13103 Sealdah-Lalgola Bhagirathi Express, 13113/13114 Kolkata-Lalgola Hazarduari express and 13117/13118 Kolkata-Lalgola Dhanodhanya express.

The other passenger trains include Sealdah-Lalgola passengers,Sealdah-Berhampore Court MEMU passengers, Ranaghat Jn-Lalgola MEMU passengers. The track is doubled and electrified from Lalgola to Sealdah .

A new bridge is constructed over river Bhagirathi after Murshidabad railway station connecting this line with the Azimganj Jn railway station of Malda division.
