Scott's impressive displays for the Blues led to him participating in the 05/06 CJHL Rookie All-Stars game, 2006 Canadian Junior Amateur Hockey League prospects' game as well as the 2007 CJHL All-Stars selection.

Pitt was drafted in round 7 number 130 to the Ottawa 67's in the OHL Priority Selection but chose to play college hockey instead when he was only offered the second line centre position at the 67's.
