Early life

Feldman was born in St. Louis, Missouri, graduated from the University of Denver in 1971. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard.

Feldman worked as an anchor and reporter in Toledo, Cleveland-Akron, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Phoenix, and Kansas City. He was also a Capitol Hill correspondent for TV stations around the country, as well as a reporter for ESPN in Washington, D.C.

News 12

He joined News 12 Long Island in 1988. He was the evening co-anchor and political correspondent. He was also the host of the popular high school scholastic quiz show, "The Challenge." Feldman retired from News 12 in November 2009.

Personal life

Feldman and his wife live on the South Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County.
