Scott David Tingle (born July 19, 1965) is a current NASA Astronaut. Tingle was selected in June 2009 as a member of the NASA Astronaut Group 20, qualifying in 2011.

Biography
Tingle is a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Tingle was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, but considers Randolph, Massachusetts his hometown. Tingle is a test pilot and Assistant Program manager-Systems Engineering at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. Tingle holds degrees from Southeastern Massachusetts University and Purdue University.
NASA Career
Tingle was selected in June 2009 as a member of the NASA Astronaut Group 20 and qualified as an astronaut in 2011.
Expedition 54/55
It was announced that Tingle would launch to the ISS for his first spaceflight in December 2017, aboard Soyuz MS-07. He will be a flight engineer for Expeditions 54 and 55.
