SciStarter is an online collection of citizen science projects. It was founded by Darlene Cavalier and is a division of Science for Citizens LLC.

Awards
The organization received an award from the Knight Foundation's Prototype Fund. SciStarter in collaboration with Arizona State University was awarded funding by the NSF to build SciStarter 2.0.
Events
The organization announced with the Citizen Science Association its support of a newly established "Citizen Science Day" with the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy to take place on April 16, 2016.
