In East Meath there are three/four Primary Schools and one planned gealscoil. There is also a plan for a VEC.

Realt Ná Mara
Although the two schools are separate officially they both operate on the same campus. The campus has a tarmac yard, basketball court (although the running and sport on the tarmac has been banned for 5 months) and half a playing field. Running is banned completely on the tarmac. In total the school has around 600 pupils.
Realt Ná Mara BNS
Realt Ná Mara BNS is an all-boys school and has 260–300 pupils.
Realt Ná Mara GNS
Realt Ná Mara GNS is the larger of the two. It has 300+ pupils.
