Saygus v2 first look
Awards
Saygus won a Best of State Award in the Hardware/Firmware category in 2015 in Utah. The Best of State Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah. Best of State candidates are evaluated by a panel of judges based on three criteria: achievement in their endeavors; use of innovative approaches or methods; and contribution to a better quality of life in Utah.
Saygus won the CES 2015 Innovation Award in the Wireless Handsets category.
Devices
Saygus is said to have developed two devices: VPhone and V² smartphone, however, not a single customer has received their order after over 18 months of promised shipments.
VPhone
Saygus' VPhone was intended for release in 2009, but it never came to market.
Saygus VPhone was featured at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, winning the CES Best of Innovations Award in the Wireless Handsets category.
V²
Saygus V² was introduced at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, winning the CES Innovation Award in the Wireless Handsets category.
The V² was expected to ship on May 22, 2015, but delayed.
Accessories
Pre order stage
Until May 8, 2015, Saygus accepted pre order on its website only. Pre orders included V² phone + an extra battery + a custom glass screen protector for $549 (USD).
Since June 15, 2015 Saygus launch a second wave of pre order on Indiegogo
