History

Saturn was founded in 1985 by Nagji Sutariya. In July 2016, after a seven year battle with cancer, Nagji passed away and left his legacy to his two sons, Yash and Raj Sutariya.

PCB Certifications

Saturn achieved its ISO9002 certification in 1985. In 1998, Saturn became the 5th PCB Circuit Board manufacturer in the country to achieve QS9000 certification. In 2000, Saturn was certified for high-reliability, safety, and under-hood applications. Saturn was the first PCB Manufacturer in North America to achieve TS19649 Certification and was one of the first PCB fabricators in North America to attain AS9100 Certification, the aerospace industry’s quality management system. In April 2009, Saturn became a registered ITAR PCB Manufacturer.

Circuit Board Manufacturing Capacity

Saturn's capacity doubled by the end of 2000 due to capital improvements. 2000 was the highest revenue year in Saturn’s history. With the industry downturn in 2001, much of this added capacity went unused through 2002. However, Saturn’s financial strength (the company is debt-free with no leases) has allowed it to overcome the downturn by adding even more equipment and processes to expand product offerings.

Printed Circuit Fabrication

Saturn manufactures PCB Printed Circuit Boards for the Electronics Manufacturing Industry providing both quick turn prototype boards and PCB production. Saturn's boards are primarily multi-layered PCBs used in diverse industries such as Power Supply, Military, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Telecommunications, and High-End Consumer Electronics Fine Line and Spacing Controlled Impedance Designs. Core Products include Heavy Copper PCB Multi-layers, PTFE / Hybrid Technologies, Microwave / RF PCBs, Cavity Boards, Internal-Cavity Boards, Thermal Management for LED Applications to include metal core PCBs (MCPCB), Via-in-Pad, laser drilled blind and buried vias, HDI, and Rigid-flex (offshore).

PCB Supply Chain

Saturn Electronics Corporation is often confused with other Saturn's throughout the PCB Supply Chain, though it distinguishes itself as the only bare printed circuit board manufacturer (NAICS Code: 334412) with the name Saturn in its title.
