Sastamala is a town and municipality of Finland. It was created January 1, 2009, when the municipalities of Vammala, Äetsä and Mouhijärvi were consolidated into a single town.

It is located in the province of Western Finland, and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The town has a population of 25,151 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 1,428.82 square kilometres (551.67 sq mi) of which 96.14 km2 (37.12 sq mi) is water. The population density is 19.48 inhabitants per square kilometre (50.5/sq mi).

Neighbouring municipalities are Huittinen, Hämeenkyrö, Ikaalinen, Kankaanpää, Kokemäki, Lavia, Nokia, Punkalaidun, Ulvila, Urjala and Vesilahti.

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
