Sashi Brown (born May 15, 1976) is the General Manager for the National Football League's Cleveland Browns, having assumed the position on January 3, 2016, replacing fired former GM Ray Farmer; he previously held the position with the organization as the team's executive vice president/general counsel, in which he was hired by the Browns in January 2013.

Brown was an attorney with Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr, a private law firm based in Washington, D.C. As a member of the firm’s corporate law practice group, Brown advised companies in a variety of business transactions. He earned an undergraduate degree from Hampton University in 1998 and a juris doctorate degree from Harvard Law School in 2002. Brown is a member of the New York, District of Columbia and Florida bars.

While working with the Jaguars organization, Brown served as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Section 8 Subcommittee to the Jacksonville Housing Authority. He also played a role in negotiating the naming rights deal for EverBank Field.

Prior to that, Brown worked in the Washington D.C.-based law firm Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr as part of the business transactions group.

Personal life

Brown resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a Cleveland, Ohio suburb, with wife Paige, sons Robeson and Ellison, and daughter Zora.
