Patrol in sarstoon temash national park belize
Sarstoon-Temash is the southernmost national park in Belize, established in 1994. It is managed by the Sarstoon Temash Institute for Indigenous Management (SATIIM), in partnership with the Forest Department. The park covers approximately 41,898 acres of broadleaf, wetland and mangrove forest.

The park was designated a wetlands of international importance under the Ramsar Convention in 2005.
