Sankardev Shishu Niketon, Dhakuakhana (Assamese- শংকৰদেৱ শিশু নিকেতন, ঢকুৱাখনা)(Govt. of Assam permitted and registered institution Reg. No AS 07/HS/29 under Non-Govt. Education regulation and management Act – 2006) was established in 1997 at Magamix Nature Club, Dhakuakhana later transferred to Nabakatharbari Gaon, Dhakuakhana.This school is run by the Shishu Shiksha Samiti, Assam; a state-level affiliate committee of Vidya Bharati. This school has the pride of producing 100% of the students passed from the 1st batch of the school till 2014, which includes the breaking of 65 years of history of HSLC Examination results of Dhakuakhana by securing 8th Position in 2009 and 11th position in 2011.

The school has one smart classroom. This classroom is mainly used for science related courses and projecting lectures of eminent persons.

The school has a library in the name of late Krishnakanta Handique. The library is well equipped with more than 4000 books, journals, newspapers, handwritten magazines.
Vipnet Science Club
The school has one science club named Vipnet Science Club. Several science related projects and discussions are held on a regular basis among the students.
Annual magazine Bharati
School publish one annual magazine "Bharati" where various articles from students are preferred and is the main attraction. Apart from this, each and every class publish one copy of hand written magazine. The wall magazine name being "Wrikkhyo" is published twice in an academic year.
