Early life and education
Born on 7 October 1964 at Solan Himachal Pradesh, He studied at Government Senior Secondary School, Solan,later did Bachelor of Arts from Government College, Sanjauli, Shimla,and Master of Arts from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla.
Career
Sanjay Awasthy is Ex-President of Solan Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association. He was a good cricketer in his school and college. He played so many cricket tournaments including Ranji Trophy in 1989-90.
Actively involved with student activism having been on the National Student Union Of India. Thereafter join Himachal Pradesh Indian Youth Congress. He is Ex- Municipal Councillor.
