Biography
Larsson recently starred in the feature film Marianne. Sandra, who previously had a background in theater work, including playing Arkadina in a Swedish production of Chekhov's The Seagull, said of her role in Marianne that "I have played a lot of theater before, and thought that making a movie would be just like playing theater but in front of a camera. It wasn’t… So much of my preparation for this movie was reading about the difference between theater acting and movie acting. I read interviews with actors and tried to work a lot with my facial expressions and toning down my voice."
Reviewer Kurt Halfyard of Twitchfilms.com praised Larson's chemistry she shared with fellow Swedish actor Thomas Hedengran. Peter Stormare, who costarred with Sandra in this film, noted that “Sandra was outstanding to work with. She holds her nerve very well and I was always confident when doing a scene with her.”
