She represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 with the song Ceol an Ghrá (English: Music of love). This was the only occasion on which Ireland performed a song in their own language until Réalta na mara by Aimee Banks in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. With 72 points, she came in 15th position.
