Sand Cloud was Founded in San Diego, CA in 2014 by Steven Ford, Brandon Leibel, and Bruno Aschidamini. At first the brand started with the single product, Pillow Towel. A reinvented way to achieve more comfort at the beach. They launched a Kickstarter campaign to initially get the word out and raise the proper funds to start the business. They used the money from crowdfunding to start selling towels full-time driving traffic to their online store with social media. With the explosive growth of social media you can now find Sand Cloud throughout the world.

Sand Cloud has one of the largest ambassador teams in the nation with over 7,000 engaged team members. It has built this following through Instagram and Facebook and other social media platforms.
