Curriculum

Samui Centre of Learning operates within the framework of the National Curriculum for England and Wales. Children receive an hour of Thai language tuition everyday and learn about Thai Culture, Thai Music and Thai Dancing.

Once students have progress through Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, they are entered for National Curriculum tests. The school is accredited by Cambridge International Examinations as an international examinations centre and IGCSE examinations are held at the end of Year 11.

Most classes are taught by qualified teaching staff holding either a PGCE or Bachelor of Education and are predominantly British nationals. Where necessary, children receive EAL (English as an additional language) support from qualified TELF teachers.
