Samuel Bradhurst Schieffelin (24 February, 1811 – 1900), was an American author.

Biography

Schieffelin was the son of Hamilton Schieffelin and was born in New York City, February 24, 1811. He was educated in private schools, and early turned his attention to business (Schieffelin Brothers), but contributed largely to the religious press.
