In September 2010, Samo Sound Boy made his production debut with his Taking It All EP for New York based record label Palms Out Sound, a six-track EP that also featured remixes from LOL Boys, Brenmar, and Mele. His more recent work has been released through his own label, Body High. He has been lauded for making music to facilitate dancing whilst crying.

Body High

In 2011, Samo Sound Boy founded the record label Body High with likeminded DJ/producer Jerome LOL, serving as the preeminent platform for underground dance music and bittersweet bangers in America. Outside of Samo Sound Boy and Jerome LOL, artists on Body High's roster include DJ Funeral, DJ Sliink, Jim-E Stack, Todd Edwards, Myrryrs, and Floyd Campbell.

Samo Sound Boy has released 3 EP's through Body High — the 5 Dollar Paradise EP in September 2012 the Your Love EP in October 2013 and "Open / Divine" in March 2014 The EPs have received nods from Pitchfork, The FADER, amongst others.

DJ Dodger Stadium

Samo Sound Boy is one-half of the recording duo DJ Dodger Stadium a.k.a. DJDS, a house music collaboration with DJ/producer Jerome Potter, professionally known as Jerome LOL. DJ Dodger Stadium released their first EP Stadium Status on Body High in October 2011, and their debut LP "Friend of Mine" on Body High in July 2014. Their second album "Stand Up And Speak" dropped in January 2016.

DJDS provided production to Kanye West's 2016 album "The Life Of Pablo", working on the songs "Ultralight Beam", "Fade", "Father Stretch Pt. 1", "Freestyle 4", and Low Lights. They received a "Best Rap Song" Grammy nomination for "Ultralight Beam".

DJDS produced the song "Rih-Flex" on The-Dream's 2016 EP "Love You To Death".

In February 2017, DJDS soundtracked Kanye West's "Yeezy Season 5" fashion show, producing a 17 minute extended version of the song "Bed" featuring The-Dream.

DJDS produced the song "Another Sad Love Song" on recording artist Khalid's debut album, American Teen, released March 2017. The album debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 chart.
