Samjur is a small village in Satiswara V.D.C , Tanahun District Western Region of Nepal. Most of the villages belong to Tanahunsur & Risti V.D.C are the neighbour villages of Samjur.

Nearly 5000 people used to live here many years ago, including Gurung, Pariyar, Biswokarma, Chhetri, Baahun, Muslim. Today it has a small population.
Most of the villagers are farmers; however, some have their own jobs and businesses. The villagers' main source of income is occupation. They spend most of their time working in the field helping each other.

In every festival youth club use to held a small but effective ceremonies doing cultural dances and providing educational stuffs and informations to the villagers.
