Life
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Golden lived in Minneapolis, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, and Portland and New York City before settling in Los Angeles.
Her work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art PS1 in New York City, and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. Her installations often include a combination of sculpture, projected video, live video, and sound. When she was included in the list of "Future Greats" by ArtReview magazine (March 2013), Golden was described as an artist who offers "a powerful, melancholic kind of beauty".
