Biography

Sam L. Palahnuk was born in Los Angeles, CA to a family of five. He designed and programmed his first games, Laser Base and Sky Rocket, on an Apple II while still in college at UCLA. Before he had graduated, he wrote a fan letter to SEGA which ended with him being hired to program and design arcade video games. With the hit game Star Trek, he became one of SEGAs top designers.

Moving from programming to acting as a designer and producer, Palahnuk went on to design the first CD-ROM game created, Airwave Adventure: Case of the Cautious Condor. He then moved to Disney Software to create top selling CD-ROM games, including Mickey's ABC's which was a platinum selling title.
