Salekur Rahman Rahe Bhanderi

Salekur Rahman Rahe Bhanderi (1848–1968), was a Sufi saint and founder of the Rahe Bhander Sufi Order. He appointed 18 Khalifa in Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and Belgium.

Life

Salekur Rahman Rahe Bhanderi born in 1848 AD (Ogrohayon 20, 1253 in Moulovi Bari, Rajanagar, Rangunia Thana (Rangunia Upazila), Chittagong District, Bangladesh. Genealogically he is a descendant of Mohammed.

Death

He died in Moulovi Bari on December 22, 1968 AD (Poush 7, 1373) at the age of 120.

Legacy

In the aspect of Bhander's efforts, the Rahe Bhander Sufi Order is spread across Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and other parts of the world. Bhander's Native home of Moulovi Bari is known better to his followers as Rahe Bhander Dorbar Sharif/ Rahe Bhander Raja Nagar Dorbar Sharif.
