History
Saint Philomena College was established by Msgr Antony Patrao [2] in the year 1958. Since then the college has been imparting education to students from Dakshina Kannada as well as students from nearby districts such as Kodagu, Kasargod and Hassan.
The College has earned a name by virtue of its disciplined functioning and achievements in the academic field as well as in the field of sports and games.
