Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology is an Engineering college located in B.Gangaram, Khammam district, Telangana, India. It is popularly called SSIT, is one of the top institutes in Khammam district,Telangana. It is located beside state highway (Khammam – Rajamundry), at distance of 7 km from Sathupalli towards Rajamundry. The college was affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

History
The Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology was established in the year 2001, by the well-known Vipassana Educational Trust, Hyderabad.SSIT is equipped with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities (academic and residential) on a 26-acre area.The chairman of the college is Dr.B.Partha Sarathi Reddy, CMD of Hetero Drugs and secretary is Sri M.V. Krishna Reddy.The motive behind establishing the college is to impart quality technical education to the rural people and to uplift the talent of economically backward students to greater levels.
Academics
The courses in undergraduate programme, being offered by SSIT presently are Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics(EEE), Electronics and Communication, Mechanical engineering, Mining engineering, Agricultural engineering. The EEE department technical association provides opportunities to the students to give weekly seminars on current topics of interest, Guest lectures are also arranged in the Association activities. The Association conducts competitions in technical paper presentations, working models exhibition, technical Quiz etc., and gives awards & prizes. Under post graduation programme, Master of Business Administration is being offered.Under diploma, courses in Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical engineering are being offered.

The SSIT Library System consists of a Central Library with 6 departmental sections (Libraries), which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmers of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. The Library, besides having 24000 and digital library with huge collection of books for engineering, science, Management and humanities offers library services through its various divisions. Campus has enriched INTERNET facility with 44Mbit/s band width through both LAN and WIFI. It has established impressive sports and games facilities in the campus.Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Shuttle, and ball badminton, Table Tennis, Caroms, Tennis, Through ball are the games which are in place, apart from all athletic facilities.
Students are supported with Bus transportation facility and the routes for the buses are organized so that students from all parts of the town can easily approach the college. A well-furnished E-class room is provided to benefit the students with web enhanced learning.Quarters equipped with internet, telephone, cable TV connection & ‘24’ hours security arrangement are provided to the staff.
