There are currently three recognized species in this genus:

Sagamichthys abei A. E. Parr, 1953 (Shining tubeshoulder)

Sagamichthys gracilis Sazonov, 1978

Sagamichthys schnakenbecki (G. Krefft, 1953) (Schnakenbeck's searsid)
