Tamashiro was born to a Japanese father and a Mexican mother.
Acting career
She studied at Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa. Her acting career began with roles in telenovelas such as Cuando Me Enamoro, Ni contigo ni sin ti and Un refugio para el amor. She then played July Barbosa in La mujer del Vendaval.
