SXMJobs is a niche employment website used primarily by hourly workers and employers of hourly workforces.
History
SXMJobs was launched in the summer of 2009, by Charlon Pompier and Jodi Djojodimedjo while attending college in the Netherlands. Pompier and Djojodimedjo both were raised and attended high school on the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten and found it nearly impossible to find jobs on the island from a distance. They then launched SXMJobs.com seeking to eliminate the mentioned problem.
SXMJobs has been instrumental is bringing change in the way recruitment is done on Sint Maarten. The founders have had meetings with several businesses and the local government. SXMJobs also has a working agreement with the St. Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA).
