SVP Worldwide is a private company that designs, manufactures, and distributes consumer sewing machines and accessories around the world under 3 brands: Singer, Husqvarna Viking, and Pfaff. SVP was the result of an acquisition of the Swedish VSM Group, which included the Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff brands, by American private equity firm Kohlberg & Company LLC, which owned the Singer brand. Management of SVP Worldwide is divided between the United States and Sweden. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda.

    In April 2007, SVP Worldwide and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE: MSO) announced a long-term endorsement deal by Martha Stewart to promote SVP's machines and accessories. In March 2008 it was announced that SVP would be an underwriter for Martha's shows Everyday Food and Everyday Baking from Everyday Food televised on PBS.
