SMA Negeri 66 Jakarta (66 Senior High School of Jakarta) is a public state high school under The Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia (Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia). The school is located at Jl. Bango III, Pondok Labu, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. The school was established July 1, 1981.
July 1980: SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta (34 State Senior High School of Jakarta) was asked license for open Kelas Jauh to Chief Regional Office of Departement of Education and Culture DKI Jakarta.
6 August 1980: Secretary of Regional Office Departement of Education and Culture DKI Jakarta approved for SMA Negeri 34 Jakarta to open Kelas Jauh. And then, they were prepared for run this program.
20 July 1981 "SMAN 34 Jakarta Kelas Jauh" was opened.
10 April 1982 "SMAN 34 Jakarta Kelas Jauh" was officially changed to SMA Negeri 66 Jakarta.
2002-2004 SMA Negeri 66 Jakarta undergoing a full building rehabilitation. Since 2002 until 2004 SMAN 66 Jakarta moved to SDN Pondok Labu 12 (12th Pondok Labu Primary School of Jakarta), SDN Pondok Labu 13 (13th Pondok Labu Primary School Jakarta), and SDN Pondok Labu 15 (15th Pondok Labu Primary School of Jakarta).
24 January 2004 Finally, the total building rehabilitation finished and all elements of this school was moved to new building school.
6 February 2004 The Governor of Jakarta Sutiyoso officially opened SMAN 66 Jakarta after total rehabilitation.
2007 The new mosque was under construction and opened. The mosque was named "Khunuzul 'Ibad".
2010 All elements of school was be held meeting. And the one of points in meeting to decided Anniversary Day of SMAN 66 Jakarta was on July 1, 1981.
SMAN 66 Jakarta used Kurikulum 2013 (2013 Curriculum) for X, XI, and XII grade class. This curriculum in SMAN 66 Jakarta was consist of:

This competition consist of futsal, basketball, pencak silat, saman dance, modern dance, and more. The participants of this competition were from Jakarta, Depok, and Tangerang. This event was a success in 2013 and 2014
Let's Explore Your Creativity For Event Sixtysix (LEXURAFE'S) is annual event of SMA Negeri 66 Jakarta and organized by Paskibra (Resimen Pasukan Jayakarta) SMAN 66 Jakarta. The participants were from Java and Bali.
KATION'S DAY is an event of 66 SHS to celebrate Kartinis's Day (21 April) and National Education's Day (2 May). The participant is all students of 66 SHS.
