Sport Clube Juventude Portuária da Furna is a football (soccer) club that currently plays in the Premier division and in the Brava Island League in Cape Verde. It is based in the city of Vila Nova Sintra and plays in the stadium with a capacity of 500. As of the 2015/16 season, its president is Sérgio and its head coach is Djodje.

History

The club is one of the newest created in the country and the newest in Brava, it was founded on March 13, 2010. As the 2010/11 season was cancelled, their first regional competition was played in the 2012 season and a year later went on to win their first and only title in Brava in the 2013 season and their only participation into the national level.

Juventude finished 3rd in the 2014 season with 22 points, their lowest and 6 wins. Juventude finished second place for the next two seasons, the club got their 100th regional championship point, the week 10 match which saw Juventude defeating Benfica 9-0 and there scored their 100th championship goal, both national and regional combined. On April 5th, the club played their 50th championship match with Coroa and defeated that club 12-1 which was the highest scoring match at the time. The club's 2016 season was the most successful of goal scoring which scored 56 that season, Juventude defeated the worst clubs of the region, Benfica, Morabeza and Coroa, the March 27 match was Juventude's highest scoring which defeated Benfica 0-16, it was the next highest result in any of the regional championship in some seasons, also in that match, Juventude scored their 200th championship goal. Juventude played their 50th regional championship match on January 24 and went on a two goal draw with Académica. On April 3, 2016, the club defeated Morabeza 1-5 and scored their 200th regional championship goal for the club. The club lost the first match of the 2016-17 season but has two wins and draws, the club had their moderately best season after five years of massive successes. So far, Juventude Furna has never lost to one of the clubs including Benfica and Corôa.

Their first ever cup title for Brava was won in 2012, their recent title was won the following year, Juventude participated in the recent Cape Verdean Cup. In the 2013 cup edition, Juventude da Furna defeated Sporting Clube da Brava 3–2, due to financial and likely schedule difficulties, Juventude did not attend the cancelled 2013 Cape Verdean Cup.

Juventude also won two Brava Super Cup titles in 2012 and in 2013, the 2013 edition saw Juventude defeating Sporting, the regional champion.

Juventude celebrated its 5th year after its foundation on March 13, 2015.

Its logo features a yellow shield with black edges and inside the shield features a moving football (soccer ball) in the middle and two orcas on each side. The club acronym "SCJPF" and the foundation date in the bottom.
