The São Tomé green pigeon (Treron sanctithomae) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is endemic to the island of São Tomé in São Tomé and Príncipe. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The species was described by Johann Friedrich Gmelin in 1789.
They are also founded in Ilhéu das Rolas. As was with every other birds on the island, they were founded in every part of the island, they have disappeared from the northeast in which is populated by humans today. Now it dominates within Obo Natural Park. They are around 10,000 of these species of green pigeons today.
