Wilson has come to prominence despite attending a secondary school without a Rugby Union team: Frensham Heights School in Surrey. During his time at the school Wilson proved to be an adept footballer. He played in the school's first XI for two years.

Having played his mini and junior rugby at Farnham RUFC in Surrey, he spent a 'happy year' at Moseley.

Wilson has been drafted to Marr in the Scottish Premiership for the 2017-18 season.

Professional career

Wilson joined Glasgow Warriors from Moseley in 2010. He has been made captain of the club for the 2017-18 season.

International career

He then went on to represent Scotland A, Scotland under-20 and Scotland under-19.
