Ryan Paul James (born March 29, 1976), also billed as Ryan James, is an actor, radio personality, writer, TV host and director born in Tampa, Florida. He debuted as an actor in 1994 with The Mickey Mouse Club and has gone on to act in television, stage and film. He directed a documentary on suicide called "What If" with Art Linkletter. He hosts a TV show on JC-TV called Rewind in Los Angeles, California. In more recent years, Ryan has been a critically acclaimed playwright. One critic noting that "Ryan is an American Playwright to watch" and another critic calling him "the Neil Simon of his generation". He has recently started writing for television. He has created a show called "The Comeback Kids" starring Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Richard Horvitz, Dean Cameron, Keith Coogan, Scott Schwartz, Erin Murphy, Melissa Disney, Lark Voorhies, Aileen Quinn, Eve Plumb, Kathy Garver and Mariette Hartley. In October 2010 Ryan married actress Melissa Disney.
