Ryan Northcott (born April 9, 1980) is a Canadian actor, in the film Mystery, Alaska, Ripper (film), and played Carl Wilson in the Emmy nominated miniseries The Beach Boys: An American Family. He is currently CEO & Founder of MEDIAPOP Creative and OwlBox Construction Time-Lapse and continues to appear in TV & Film.

Early life
Northcott was born in Calgary, Alberta to Rhonda and Linden Northcott. He graduated from Western Canada High School in Calgary.
Career
Northcott began his career appearing in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show and followed up with roles in Atomic Dog, and Don't Look Behind You. His break came when he was cast, seemingly out of nowhere, in Mystery, Alaska. Originally auditioning for a small bit part role he caught the eye of Casting Director Linda Lowy, and was ultimately cast as "Stevie Weeks". Shortly after he appeared as Carl Wilson in the Emmy nominated miniseries The Beach Boys: An American Family. Northcott also appeared in MVP: Most Valuable Primate, Ripper, Tom Stone the TV series, Wild Roses the TV series, 12 Men of Christmas, and Away and Back.
Northcott now joins a long list of actors to portray "Wyatt Earp" in the "Syfy" television series "Wynonna Earp (TV series)".
Northcott began producing web-based videos as a hobby and achieved viral success producing Chuck Storm, an accident prone reporter who runs into a pole. Off the other viral hit Car Dance Party Moscow, Northcott teamed up with Happiness-Brussels and Toyota to produce Car Dance Party Belgium.
Producing
In recent years Northcott has turned his attention to his two companies, MEDIAPOP Creative and OwlBox Construction Time-Lapse, producing content for commercials, short films, corporate, television, and charitable organizations.
Personal life
Northcott has one daughter, Madeleine.
