He was ranked as the No. 22 prospect in the state of Maryland by Rivals.com and also was ranked as the 29th-best prospect in the Mid-Atlantic by SuperPrep.

College career

He was selected for the 2011 East-West Shrine All-Star game. In his Senior season, He started 13 games and was named the team captain.

Baltimore Ravens

On July 27, 2011, He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. On August 27, 2011 He was released.

Arizona Cardinals

On September 4, 2011, He signed with the Arizona Cardinals to join the practice squad. On January 3, 2012, He was signed to a reserve/futures contract. In 2012, He was placed on Injured Reserve due to a knee injury and was later released.
