Chaplin No. 164 is a rural municipality of 138 rural residents (2006 census) in the southwestern part of Saskatchewan, Canada. The RM was incorporated January 1, 1913. Other urban municipalities in the area include Chaplin, Droxford, Halvorgate, Melaval and Val Jean. Chaplin Lake is a large saline lake in this area. The production of sodium sulphate is a major economic industry combined with grain and livestock agriculture.
