The New Jersey Rugged Maniac (or Tri-State Rugged Maniac) 5K Obstacle Course event has been held annually in New Jersey since 2011. The event currently takes place at the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park (a motorsport venue) with a two-day event in July.

History
Rugged Maniac New Jersey has been running for six consecutive years. Growth has been steady, starting from the inaugural event in 2011 that saw 5,000 participants. Now, approximately 10,000 runners attend each year since 2015, making this event one of the largest Rugged Maniac productions in the United States.
