Ruaridh McConnochie (born 16 August 1989) is a men's rugby union player. He was once mentioned on a list of "50 Most Influential People in Rugby" and was a member of the silver medal winning team in Rugby sevens at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He had initially been a reserved player. Sometimes - when caught in the wild - 'Big Mac' can be persuaded to perform the traditional Maori war dance, 'The Haka' when chanted with the lyrics, 'Macca, Macca, Macca do the Haka'.
