Rowdy Johnson Band is a country band from Tombstone, Arizona. Formed by the band’s namesake in 2007, the current lineup consists of Rowdy Johnson (lead vocals, guitar), Ken Whitcomb (bass, vocals), Dan Showalter (steel guitar, lead guitar, dobro), Ray Peter (drums) and Mark Yeary (keyboards) formerly of Merle Haggard’s Strangers.

Although based out of Southern Arizona, they have performed throughout the United States both as headliner and as the supporting act for such artists as Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet, Jackyl, John Kay's Steppenwolf, Shooter Jennings, .38 Special, Gretchen Wilson and Big & Rich.

The band released “Outlaws Today” in 2011, followed up by “America’s Best” in 2013 and “Hillbilly Rock Star” in late 2015. All are on their Gray Beards Record label.

The group have been approached to appear on a television series, The Real Life of a Country Music Entertainer.
