This led to the idea of incepting a curated network for fashion lovers. And hence, Roposo was conceptualised in July 2014. The app was launched in April 2015
In 2015 the company had its first round of funding through Tiger Global that led a $5 million Series A round in the company and $10 million in 2016. It has recently raised another $5 million from Bertelsmann India Investments. This funding was a part of Series B round. The photo and video feature enable a user to visualise the item well before hitting on the buy button.
