Ronnie Arthur Alcantara Alonte (born on October 26, 1996, in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines) is a Filipino actor, model, singer and dancer. He is known as one of the dance group Hashtags on the noontime variety show It's Showtime.

He starred in Seklusyon, a film by award-winning director Erik Matti, and Vince and Kath and James, a teen romance film by Theodore Boborol. Both were official entries in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival. The two films placed first and third in the MMFF rankings and were considered as blockbuster movies of the year's film festival earning an extended screentime in different cinemas nationwide.

Early life
Alonte was born and raised in the city of Biñan, Laguna.
Career

He gained prominence in 2015 as a member of Hashtags, a dance group in the daytime show It's Showtime. Hashtags released their debut self-tilted album on May 21, 2016, with "Roadtrip" released as the album's lead single. Alonte has gone solo with the release of his first single titled "Love At Website". The single was actually an entry to the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs (2016) which made it to the Top 30 of the said competition. It was written by Gabriel Tagadtad and produced by Roxy Santos under Star Music. He performed the song on Gandang Gabi Vice last August 21, 2016 as well as It's Showtime. The song is also available on Spotify and iTunes and an official lyric video was released on YouTube.

In 2016, he made several appearances on the longest running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya including the portrayal of his own story. In the same year, he starred in two entries in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF): Star Cinema's Vince and Kath and James as James; and Seklusyon, directed by Erik Matti. Seklusyon dominated the MMFF 2016 awards night with nine awards including Best Screenplay while Vince and Kath and James also won the Children's Choice Award.

In 2017, he is set to be part of the upcoming melodrama series A Love to Last, co-starring Bea Alonzo, Ian Veneracion, Iza Calzado, and Barretto. This would be Alonte's first primetime drama series.
