Ronald Paul Hubert (born April 10, 1961) is currently a member of the London, Ontario, City Council representing Ward 8. Hubert is also the Executive Director of Pathways Skill Development & Placement Centre in London.

Personal life

Paul Hubert was born April 10, 1961, in Toronto. He has been a resident of London since 1999. His father Ronald Hubert was Vice-President of Employee Relations for Eatons of Canada. His mother Shirley was a homemaker to three children. Hubert married Joan Kemp in 1988, and they have three children: Alexandra, Nicholas, and Zachary.

In 1984, Hubert graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in Psychology, with his thesis "Custody & Access Project, London Family Court Clinic." In 1993, he graduated from the University of Guelph with a M.A. in Psychology, with his thesis "Desistence: The Process of Change in Young Offenders."

Hubert and his family resided and worked in Venezuela 1995-1998; he is fluent in Spanish.

Career

Hubert is currently the Executive Director of Pathways Skill Development and Placement Centre since 2000. Prior to that, Hubert was with Navigators of Canada as Director of Team and Organizational Development.

Hubert is very involved in his local London Community and serves on several boards and committees. His three areas of focus are: Economic and Workforce Development, Transportation, and Parks and Recreation.
